We've had this discussion , but I'm just an engineer, I don't have much say in what markets management chooses to pursue. Our business is 99% OEM sales, with little aftermarket.

As such, we only go after aftermarket applications that have big potential - which are RWD axles, for Mustangs, Camaros, etc. FWD LSD customers are still small peanuts compared to that.

The sport compact market in general may be the fastest growing segment of the aftermarket, but from this end of it, the customers in that segment that want a LSD are relatively few. Think of the % of RWD aftermarket customer that want a LSD - it'd be a very large chunk. But its not the case in this segment. I think if you could get 10% (even just 5%) of enthusiast owners of Contours, Cougars and Foci, to want one then it'd be huge, volume-wise. Enough market for all the companies involved, and then some. But as I said, it's not the case, even for Hondas...
