I am glad the election is over and that Bush won. Sorry, I just wanted to say that. Carry on.....

No doubt. I was up until 2 a.m. this morning until I was satisfied Bush had Ohio (mathematically).

What bothered me about Ohio is that the Kerry camp kept inflating the number of provisional ballots to make it look like they had a shot. The officials from Ohio came out this morning and said that there was 159,000 provisions and the Kerry camp inflated that number by nearly 100,000.

Even though I will now support him, as he is my president, Bush's social politics suck. He obviously knows no separation of Church and State. He can't find 2 Billion Dollars that Jason Powell (chair FCC) misappropriated. He is against Stem Cell, and is Pro-Life, and he is a terrible "off the cuff" speaker. Too bad that Kerry didn't get more young voters out, for the election might have been a bit different. Oh well, carry on. Oh, and why does he care about gay marriage... Hmmm. Could it be his religious agenda?

Werd. I don't agree with a lot of his politics, but I'll support him. He's our pres, the people spoke (er...voted), and the last thing we need is a divided nation. So, I raise my glass in the hopes of 4 good years and no more political commercials.

I think that Po-Jay summed up my response perfectly so no need for any more of a reply.

I was disappointed at the outcome too, but oh well. At least Bush was the candidate with the most votes this time around ;-)
I'm hoping that some things change in this second term of his, and that he wasn't just blowing smoke about everyone, Democrat and Republican, working together to unify America. The cynic in me thinks that he'll probably just take his "mandate" from the voters as justification to push his agenda. Time will tell.
I'm just glad that Matheson won reelection for Congress in SLC. I personally thought that Swallow's ads were dirtier and meaner than anything else I saw all election season *shudder*
Colter, do you still have that picture of the campaign sign from the last election? The one with Swallow and that other candidate? You know the one ;-)
