yes I understand there is an economic cycle, doesn't mean steps can't be taken to lessen its impact, again nothing was done
1. The Fed cuts rates to all-time lows 2. Tax cuts to jump start economy
They both worked.

actually, they didnt' work. the tax cuts did get the economy to turn around, however, it hasn't created any jobs. Bush ended his term with the highest loss of jobs of any president EVER. The new economy has not been able to create jobs, and those that Bush has tried to create have been to little to late, paying $9000 a year less than they previously would have.

Yes they did. Our GDP growth is higher than in any other industrialized country in the world right now.
I'd say it worked amazingly well considering how the economy tanked.

Wait, you just said they didn't work.

Of course tax cuts themselves aren't going to creat jobs ya goober! It's not what they're designed to do! Good grief! In the end, they are a hopeful by-product at best.

It's unfortunate, but this means nothing to me.

You mean the 1,000,000+ created this year doesn't count?

Bush personally doesn't create jobs genius, the economy does.

OMG, brapple is John Kerry! Read his posts, he sounds like he's reading from Kerry's cue-cards word for word. As I said earlier, you have flawed thinking, and when confronted with a legitimate question, you bring up talking points that have nothing to do with the question in play. Quote:

No, because I live in today's world. I manage two of my own companies, one of which employs 2 foreign workers. I'm building my future, will your savings from gas do that for you?

Now that there is nothing to keep Bush from instituting the death camps, where should I register to be worked to death?

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

I'm thinking of planting soybeans next year instead of hay. Find a way we can refine it into biodiesel and we're golden!
F--- the oil companies!!! Except ExxonMobil of course, need that Mobil1!

Is there any good website that I can read up on the whole Social Security issue? I am reading things here on this post that I am not familiar with - and I just want a good site that has the necessary info. sorry if I brought the level of this conversation down a bit. I'm just trying to get a '101' understanding here on a subject I'm interested in now.

lol, no you made the claim that liberals don't sell this stuff in mass quantities, and got slam dunked. Sorry, but Michael Moore's existance completely refutes your statement and makes you look foolish. That was the meaning of my analogy.
