It might have been a 3-point shot but you were down by 10.
Now, count the millions of people that agree with that one man after seeing his movie. What's the score now? Oh, that's right, we still lost.
Reasons I voted for Kerry:
I lost my job twice under Bush, both because of corporate cutbacks stemming from 9/11. The movie confirmed enough of my suspected evils to change my mind.
We went to war without direct support of our allies, against a coutry which happens to control most of the active drilling oil deposits in the world. Who's oil gets more expensive when theirs is gone? Ours does... who gets rich?
Local factory jobs were shipped overseas during Bush's first four years due to tax loopholes. A Firestone foreman is now my local produce manager!!! What's next? A Maytag worker at the drive through cleaners? Yup...
I don't vote one party vs. the other because it's that kind of closed minded-ness that kills everything I love about living in this country. Canada would be pretty good with the free health care and all, but do you think they'll take over Florida any time soon to be able to get some liveable Canadian weather?
