Yeah, sorry, I didn't mean to make it sound as bad as it did. (I reread my post today and whoops...) The 1 1/2yr timeline on my project was because I am not doing something small. My project included a full engine rebuild with forged internals, port/polish, internal coatings, and tons of custom 1-off pieces. I should have been more specific. I would always send my tranny to Terry, as he's been most knowledgable in that area, and I trust him to not shaft me with shoddy work. (The tranny was already built by him, but experienced a...ummm...problem, so he's going to be taking care of that...)
