not true. quaife uses shims while the torsen dont. when i bought my torsen from ADC it ahd the bearings and speedo gear pressed on already. it was drop-in. very easy to do

Regardless of the actual setup procedure on the unit itself, the main labor is the tearing apart of the trans and reassembly. In either case you still should be checking tolerances and clearances rather than trusting the factory setting as being good enough.

Ehhhhhh, no, I said I've always sent my trans work out to Terry Haines on these cars, not Rick. I don't like all of the setup work on a diff, side load, pinion depth, lash, backlash... Even with pressed on bearings you have to set these things up properly, or risk having your tranny whine like a stuck pig! Every diff needs set up, no exceptions!

That "used" to be true.
MSDS now offers headers with slightly larger primary piping (1.75" vs 1.65") as well as the original size.
No back-to-back dyno testing but I would guess mid range power drops in favor of a little more very high rpm breathing. However 1.65" primaries are already pretty large for such a small displacement engine. (2.5L or 3L V6)
