I don't even think its possible to get those headers on with the engine in the car. The piping is too large to get in there with anything.

Flemloid 3.0,

I definately be able to get the engine/tranny all setup and dropped in there pretty fast depending on how long it takes for the parts to get to me but I've never worked on a 95 Contour before and I heard there are a few differences. I wouldn't be able to do any tuning or computer work. You'd have to contact Street Flight or talk to the other 95 Contour people on the board with 3L's.

The easiest way would be to buy the engine, tranny (if your not using your old tranny) and all the parts you want on it and have it shipped to me so I can get it all prepped. Then when I'm finished get the car over here and I'd try to get it dropped in and out of my garage in a weekend or two depending on any hangups. What heads would you be going with? The two versions I've worked on are the hybrid with the SVT heads or the 3L oval port heads ported to match the 2.5L manifolds. Another option also the fastest would be to find a low milage 3L with split port heads and water pump on the side so everything bolts up perfectly, but then you don't get the revised pistons so its a trade off. It wouldn't matter if you weren't going to turbo or supercharge it. It would be a snap to throw together. I've done one hybrid (Brad Noon did the interal work) and I've built up two 3L's with the ported oval port heads (all on my own). I've also done a SVT swap and a few stock 2.5L swaps. So I shouldn't have a problem. You need to get a list together of what parts you want.
