Rance, my car has a similar problem. My Trubendz gives off a very distinct smell after running the car hard and turning it off. I do not think it is leak as the car has not shown any ill effects after putting it on. Otherwise, it is an awesome sounding system especially when you get on it.
P.S.: My uncle's Z06 also has an exhaust smell while running hard and its factory stock.
