I am looking into purchasing a sway bar setup for my Cougar. I came across a screaming deal on an Aussie Bar, but.....

However I am not sure if such an extreme Sway Bar would be ideal for my Cougar. I have performed a good deal of weight reduction and my car will weigh in at 2650 or so(down from 3050.

I will most likely be doing some mild autoX and sprinted driving on our deserted mountain backroads twisties. (think mild European hairpins or InitalD type roads)

Overall i believe about 3/5 of the weight reduction came from the rear of the car. Which is why i am not sure if the Aussie Bar would be too much for my car's setup. I can understand the aussie bar being great for those tossing around 3100lbs, but I am quite a bit lighter.

I am also aware I need to weld in reinforcement plates, however the bar which i am purchasing doesnt not come with them. Nor the endlinks.

I saw a post a while back about the upgraded endlinks so If someone could be so kind and provide me a link to those I would be most appreciative.
