4. and Lets not even get started about the J-spec stuff, where most of their counterparts come with a limited slip unit, higher flowing intake and exhaust manifolds and ecu that is tuned for the Japanese everyday 101 octane...
You have NO CLUE what the hell you are talking about!
1. More rpm doesn't mean squat. It's power to weight and the overall power curve.
The power to weight is close. A GSR is between an SE and SVT. Closer to the SVT.
The power curve favors ANY Duratec hands down. No shock there.
2. The secondaries are RPM activated. They will ALWAYS be open above 4100rpm. A shift drops the engine to about 5000rpm in the next gear.
3. Verses what? A stock Duratec. I agree.
An SVT. No way! Compare the actual HP & TQ curves and you'll see exactly what I mean!
4. JDM stuff is not touched by god. A little is better then the norm, but the majority is worse then we get here. I know. I lived there nearly 3 years.
Also Japanese regular is about the same as our 85 octane rating. You are confusing octane rating systems. The US averages both octane ratings and doesn't just use the high rating.
