Clean out the groove and three outlets.
On the right side at the top of the groove there is a hole that leads through the UIM to the EGR valve (a coathanger comes in handy). To be sure you can take the EGR valve loose and blow air through.

The DPFE, EVR, EGR valve, and EGR crossover tube can also be at fault so if you still have problems test the system in an orderly fashion.
