I hadn't heard about this incident... I am simply shocked. How could a human being deemed sane enough to be an officer commit such an atrocity? I sincerely believe that he will not live more than a week in prison, and if he isn't charged, he will be killed. It reminds me of a recent shooting in my area, where an officer shot a blinded man with a pitchfork 8 times. He was 20 feet away and stumbling toward a female officer, so the male officer fired. Many times. He got off, and was beaten nearly to death later. Once again, this entire situation is shocking, and I am sorry for all that had to witness it. =(
