Also thanks for the input from all of you so far. I had pretty much decided on the turbo before I bothered posting. Just looking at a few things. Like boost controller is there anyone that works well and looks right in our Contours?

the water resevoir is about the size of 2 batteries. I have my resevoir on one side and my battery on the other. I still have plenty of trunk space...when i dont have in my subs of course lol. You can use any boost controller you want. Im running the Apexi AVCR and others are running just a dual stage boost controller, and I think Burrita might be running a Greddy unit.

Being from Europe you are on your own for the tune. ADC was not supplied with European ECU codes.

He has an SVT over there though.

Alright here's the deal similar to Warmonger, we are in Belgium but this car is US Spec it came from Virginia I am the second owner the original owner was a Navy guy paid cash for the car drove it maintained it semi decent never really beat on it too much. There are a few nicks scrapes and junk that can and will be fixed all in time, looking good is my last priority. The interior is in great shape with the exception of the drivers floor mat which I was able to call Mike Raisor Ford in Indiana and they ordered me a set they take 11 days but they are SVT COntour floor mats I put a post in astethics the otehr day. 55 bucks for all 4 floor mats SVT logo on fronts none on rear.

The car itself will have 75k miles on it by the end of the year It drives great and was stock when I bought it down to the original Ford Cabin filter. I threw new Nitto 450's on it as well as a BAT y pipe and Bat intake with the snorkel and new sway bar bushings. The plan was to order the big brake kit from them but they are apparently out of the brackets for it and don't plan on making anymore since they have a new big brake kit for it which has not been released yet.

So I will probably do the magnaflow exhaust next then get with BAT and see if the kit is ready yet. I bought the Fidanza off ebay from Smokeshow00 over on svtperformance.com for total cost of 235.00. My thought is probably the spec 1 clutch as it says it will do fine with up to 290ft lbs of tq. While that is out I was considering the torsen but no warranty makes me leary so it will prolly be the Quaife unit for the lil extra no since in scrimping.I will go ahead and do the shift forks while it is out and anything else I am missing so far. Once the tranny is beefed up and can handle the power I will be calling ADC and order the kit 5psi is good enough for me I don't plan on all out flying it will do an easy 155 when it was stock on bad tires ran out of road into traffic and yes I had a witness with me it was flat nice road. It got there faster than my wife's 03. The plan for this car is corner carving there are a lot of smack talking Fbody guys here in Europe and since we are part of the European Mustang club and I won't race her led weight they talk a lot more trash. Simply put factory warranty at a non SVT event =warranty cancelled. So I am not willing to risk that.

So in short if you skipped all that crap it is a US spec CSVT and we are US military here at SHAPE Belgium.

youll probably be alright with a SPEC 1 clutch if you dont go past 5 psi on the T-28 kit, but I tell ya, its so tempting not to turn up the boost. With about 5 psi, youll probably be putting down 220 whp so youll be fine. Although, if your only shooting for 220 whp, why not just save the money and do an oval port 3.0L and put down the same power for a whole lot less?

The SVT parts held up in the test mule and Tom's first 3L turbo.

They've also held S/C cars which make strong top end power.

The Stage 1 is significantly higher rated then the SVT parts.

I really don't see it slipping.

Now the organic/metallic material will not withstand the heat like the Stage 3 but even the stock SVT clutch took my beating on it fairly well.
I am very hard on the clutch when it comes to launching and slipping the clutch.

I'd feel a whole lot better with a SPEC clutch in there with a turbo upgrade. I felt comfortable putting my OEM Grizzly Clutch back in with the 3L buildup because it looked brand new still.. 8 days later, the clutch exploded. SPEC has been in for ~25k with the 3L and have had no signs of slippage.

I've been golden with my CFDF despite all the speculation and mumbo-jumbo people were pushing.
