If I hook up any other kind of light(not mystique rear light) to the postive and negative up front will the lights in the rear work the same?

Meaning will they come on if I put the switch upfront to the one position? Will they come on when I press the unlock botton?

I have 2 little skinny neons that I want to put in the rear and I want them to come on just like the front.

Any help would be great.

as the wiring is, the answer is no. Although you can add wiring from the bulb contacts on the front light, and carry them through to the back. That would work fine for switching the rear on and off at the same time as the front

If you were to connect straight to the wiring for the front light, then you bypass the switch on the front light. However, if you connect it to the bulb contacts, then you will make use of the switch.

Well TBH you could connect straigh to the live wire, and use the ground contact on the front light. the reason for this is that the light is negatively switched. DOes that explain better, or have i misunderstood your question?
