Just ran my first AutoX (scca Solo2) at the Oakland CA coliseum.. Had to run my Cougar in Street Modified because of the over sized (330mm) front disks, but since this was my first Solo2 event it was just sort of for fun anyway.. As some of you might know my experience prior to this was some track time with the Cougar at Laguna Seca and Thunderhill race circuits.. A different type of driving but fun and less expensive..
Anyway, here is the damage:
1st run .. 63.045 sec. (ouch)

2nd run .. 60.172 sec. (there is hope)

3rd run .. 56.778 sec. (not bad for a ATX)

I still had plenty of margin left in the Cougar's handling performance.. so I need to get more experience using the ATX with the CFD. Of course, running the course with a full gas tank wasn't the best of ideas either.
Now to consult the rule book and see if I can get out of the SM class..
