Is the drivability issue resolved or not with the replacement of the PCV hose?

If so, drive it and see what happens.

If not, unplug the MAF and test drive it (you will have a CEL, but it will drive fine). If the drivability problem clears, then the MAF is indeed suspect.

You can always clean the MAF (I use a non-residue brake cleaner) to see if that helps, otherwise the MAF is likely defective. New ones can be bought from almost any auto parts store or from the Ford dealer.
