don't you love that blower! I dry my car off with it. hehehe so fun! gotta wear those sound deadening ear muffs though. The sound from that thing when you hit the right angle can be so ear piercing!

Its been super windy here for the past few days. Steady winds of 30 to 35 MPH with some gusts up to 50.
With that much wind its hard to rake or use a leaf blower so we've just been mowing our customer's lawns which pulls the leaves out of the grass and chops them up so the wind can blow them away.

You're right. Most of the utility trucks I see around here all have gas powered pole saws. But normally they don't use them unless its an emergency. Otherwise they leave that work to their contractor they use for that sort of stuff. The contractor that the power company hires to trim the trees away from the power lines has the hydraulic powered pole saws mounted to the cherry picker buckets. So they just hoist themselves up into the tree and saw away with another guy loading all the cut branches into a chipper.

Sue and I are closing on the new house on Friday...the yard needed work before the leaves started falling. Guess it will be a long weekend for me next week, raking, cutting, mowing and sweeping.
