I MIGHT would wear one on the sport kind, depending on what I'm doing. But I've ridden a banshee and didn't wear one. I've also ridden a 125cc dirt bike (the kind that do around 80mph) and didn't wear one.
a) for the love of god, wear a helmet. if you fall at any speed (especially in the dirt) and bonk your melon, you could be all done (think closed-head injury).
b) 125 dirt bikes don't do 80. their not geared for it.
c) that is all.
