So, I'm driving to work about 8:45 a.m. on Friday, when all of a sudden I hear a large thump-thump on the passenger side of my car. "Hmm, what could that have been?" you ask. Well, a stupid deer got spooked when I was driving by and ran headlong into the front passenger side of my car denting the $#!T out of it, which in turn spun it around and dented the rear passenger door as well. To say the least, I was pissed! I have a 98 Toreador Red CSVT in mint (was in mint) condition. Completely bone stock, never had any dents, dings or anything. The only thing I've ever had to do was replace the sunroof motor (who hasn't). Well, I guess that's what I get for living in the Midwest. So, my once pristine car is now a dented mess until I can get it into the shop. The police officer said that there was some kind of Indiana state DNR (Department of Natural Resources) form that if a deer hits your car, the state will pay for any body damage incurred. Anyone ever heard of this? Please PM me if you know about this form and where to get it. Also, if anyone knows where I can get two good condition passenger doors in Tore Red for cheap please let me know. That way I can save some money on body work and paint. Thanks for reading this very long post, but I had to vent to everyone.
