I am changing my SuperChip for Diablo, so I got some questions for ya'll:

I forgot to write down my EEC code when I got my SuperChip over 15 months ago, so now I gotta look it up again.

1) The nut is 10MM, but what tool d'ya need (exact name plz) - when I was doing it first time, I remember using whatchamacallit - the one that consists of 2 parts, one to hold and one to rotate (b/c of the bracket)

2) The blue cover of SuperChip conceals the code on the side, so what I am supposed to do - kinda slide the SuperChip out? How I am supposed to do that? Like sliding a flatbed on a side and pry it towards me?

3) When I put the new chip in, the Diablo got no cover or anything, so do I have to just pull it in? Does it click when it's in place?

4) How I am securing the Diablo? Just taping it?

Thanks,

RG

1.I used a wrench. I guess a socket and ratchet could be used too.

2.Not sure exactly what you mean. You pull the chip straight out.

3. and 4.Don't know what's up with that. Though I don't even have the bracket over my superchip.

RG, . . plz tell me you just had a momentary loss of memory or something. Socket and ratchet are not something you forget.

Both LocoZ and I have experienced some engine stalls that might be credited to the way SuperChip is installed.

About selling - sure, I am not gonna marinate my SuperChip, but first I have to get the damn code (ain't got no socket and ratchet), ship Diablo to Canada for a reflash, get Diablo back, install it, try it and then I am gonna sell my SuperChip with a tremendous discount to one of my fellow Zetecers.

Since the 10mm nut is located in the recessed bracket, what kind of socket d'ya need to reach to the nut? Shouldn't it be kinda extended or something?

I can't remember what I used. RG you need to get some tools dude. I THINK I used a regular socket and my ratchet just happened to clear everything (possible not all ratchets may clear).
