Contour Enthusiasts Group Archives Forums General Troubleshooting Flashing SRS (air bag) Light

My '96 Contour SRS Warning Light has begin occasionally flashing (3 flashes, pause, 3 flashes, pause, ...).

It will flash the repeated code for maybe a minute, then not flash for several minutes (or many minutes), then start flashing for another minute or so.

I couldn't find anything here, the owner's manual, or Haines in reference to this particular code.

Suggestions?
