Lol, although a few drinks and some cards would be preferable, I'm sure there are a few of us that could make the trip up .
Actually, there are 3-4 of the us SD guys that have gone up to OC and LA meets numerous times this year

we could have a "meet" at some kind of event, making it really worthwhile for people to drive. or maybe a Christmas party? New Years party?

is that near Burbank? what day is it on? if its during the week, most people would never make it cuz of traffic. if we try to do something involving all/most of so cal including LA, OC, and SD (and others), i think a more southern location would be fairer(?) to everyone. ive never been to Speedzone but ive heard its really fun/cool http://www.speedzone.com/losangeles.htmlseems like there's a lot to do there. we could make a day out it.

Bob's is on the border of Burbank and Toluca Lake. Cruise night is every Friday night, and it will usually run late into the night. Jay Leno usually shows up with something interesting. Speed channel will show up from time to time as well as some magazines too.

This is one of the places we would get together at when a lot of us older CEG guys/gals wanted to get together. Of course there is food and drink, lots of parking, and the carts and drag cars, as well as video games. Very convenient for most of us to meet up as well, as it is more central for the IE, LA, OC people. No worrying about BBQ or how cold it is, since there we can move indoors as well.
The other place is in Anaheim, called Dromo One. Indoor shifter-style carts. You have qualifying rounds and a main event. Click here for Dromo One!

Why would SpeedZone be for the "older guys"? I feel a little left out in that category, am I right? i've been to Speedzone a few years ago, nothing really "older guy" about it..maybe over 21, which I think most of us are....

Yes, I meant old school CEG'ers. Remember, I've had my car longer than most of you guys have your drivers license. Most of the old school, Derrick, Bito, David Z (if he still has his car), Jim Bandy, and others that don't post here, have moved on already. I think that JETACE (Mike) and I are the only ones that are still the original owners of our cars. And yes, Speedzone is fun.
