Yeah, nothing real serious, I just managed to go faster than my bike somehow and landed face forward on the pavement (don't ask the exact details, the first thing I remember is the ambulance). My face, neck and shoulder bones heroically decided to absorb the impact, so now I have a half a pound of good ole titanium bolts to hold them together
, so if you take an x-ray of me and my 'tour, it's definitely harder to tell them apart now
The first 1-2 weeks were rather uncool, like after the face surgery they have sewn one of my eyes shut for a week, well that was a kind of an experience I wouldn't try again, but now it's much better.
I have a neck brace on for a few more weeks and I can only stare straight forward, that's why I can't drive (well, I technically speaking I tried and it works
, it just doesn't feel terribly safe).
I'll be OK in a few weeks, and now all I need to do is to catch up with school, and get myself educated on personal bankruptcy before the medical bills arrive...
