I'm not trying to down on your opinion, you certainly have the right to it and I don't doubt that some people just have a hard time playing some games on their PC. If it's a particular publisher giving you trouble, I'd be willing to bet it's their copy-protection software. Copy-Protection can cause all sorts of problems.
Ironic that I get problems with copy-protection on my purchased software, but my pirated software runs great.
There's no doubt games run perfectly every time on a console. I own a GameCube and a PS2 in addition to being a PC gamer. They each have their strengths for sure, but if the same game is on PC as a console I'll take the PC version anyday.
