I hear about it over here in Austria. Not the biggest, but if I am hearing news about it and can go to pubs and see the game live then it is pretty big.

No, that'll be when the Canucks win the Stanley Cup I don't think the BoSox are gonna win tonite, for all the hardship the franchise has been in, this just seems too easy. Kinda sucks if they do end up winning it, its not in Fenway.

Yeah, some people living on the east coast would be shocked to find that, contrary to what ESPN would like you to think, the sports world does not revolve around Boston and New York. This isn't even the biggest sports story this year. The Greeks winning the European soccer championship is a much bigger story. Just because ESPN didn't hype that to death doesn't mean it's insignificant. Pat Tillman making the ultimate sacrifice is also a bigger story. I guess it all depends on what you consider a 'big' story.
