For having read everything on the brickboard FAQ and been on their forums (I used to own a Volvo 740Turbo wagon 341,000Kms), this is was I've understood. The very best system to clean injectors/fuel system is Snap On's Motorvac. In Montreal (and probably other parts of Canada), there's a system called Tera-Clean witch isn't nearly as good as a Motorvac, it should be about the equivalent to a really good bottled injector cleaner (though not BK44). For the bottled stuff, keep in mind that the rear wheel drive volvo owners are used to keeping their cars for years (700/900 series starts in 1984 till 1994), the best bottled stuff is BK44. It's much harder to find then the next best STP Complete Fuel system Cleaner. It can only be obtained from a distributor not from a parts store like Auto-Value, Napa or Autozone... The STP Complete Fuel System Cleaner is only available (or I've only been able to find it) in the US. It is much more efficient at cleaning the fuel system then other injector cleaners.
