Well that was fun.. I enjoyed meeting the CEG'ers there, but was sorry I didn't have any time to really talk. I had to get the Candy Striper staged for it's section.

Anyway, here is the damage:
1st run .. 63.045 sec. (ouch)
2nd run .. 60.172 sec. (there is hope)
3rd run .. 56.778 sec. (not bad for a ATX)

I still had plenty of margin left in the Cougar's performance.. so I need to get more experience using the ATX with the CFM. Of course, running the course with a full gas tank wasn't the best of ideas either.

Now to consult the rule book and see if I can get out of SM class..

Yeah, had fun watching the cars run, there were some great cars out there runnin'. Sorr couldn't stay longer to chat, will have to meet up some other time. I will have to become a memeber so that I can go and run next time there is a track time like that again. looks like a lot of fun.

Well, there is a two day weekend run in November. I'm sure you could get signed up by then. The more the merrier..

The announcer said that Candy Striper was the first Cougar to run here in Solo2. That is too bad.. though admittedly the Coug isn't a fast car, especially the ATX.

Solo2 isn't much more than the cost of a show and is really a hole lot of fun. Some great cars that are there to perform at there best. All the folks are friendly and enjoy CAR TALK ..
