Yes, roll cages can be nicely done in any car for road events. I would doubt that anyone is gonna have one off the shelf though, given that Contour's aren't exactly CRX's or Mustangs in aftermarket support.

Back in my Ford days (early-mid 90's) I saw a number of Contour prototypes running around the proving grounds with cages. The coolest part about these cages was that they were integrated in the interior, mostly hiding behind trim panels. Very little of the tubing was visible - kinda the anti-rice look.

But I have no idea who put these cages together - prolly some Detroit prototyping service like Carron and Company. If you need this kind of service, go to your local dirt/asphalt track and start asking around. You may be suprised what kind of custom fabrication is available by your average Joe Bob speed shop.
