This is what I have between the kickpanel and firewall:

It has some plugs on the front, but nothing plugged into it from what I can see. Is this the keyless module, and am I missing any parts? or should I be able to get a remote and program it to work?

Thanks.

That's the ECU/Computer. The keyless is there would be infront of it, between it and the glovebox.

All mondeos unlock all doors from the drivers door. And most have remote locking, so you dont need to put the key in the door. Is that what you guys mean? or am i being stupid?

It seems some Contours will work like the Mondeo where all the doors will open if the key is turned to the unlock position twice. This of course is only usefull for those without a keyless remote.

I meant to say that if it was there it would be between the ECU and the glove box. It doesn't look like you have keyless.
