The other day I went ot unlock my door and it was giving me fits. Finally it gave way. Then later when I went home I tried to unlock the door and again not success. So i hit the unlock button and it made a sound similar to when somone is holding the door handle from the outside so it wont unlock. Now my next step would be to take the door panel off but if i cant open the door how can I get the screws out on the bottom? Please help this is very annoying!

Can you open it from the inside at all? Does the handle just pull and nothing?

Doe the unlock rocker move if you use the power locks?

Roll the window down and put a wedge in it so you can see. then use a stiff rod to actuate the lock mechanism. Once you get the door open, pull the panel off and replace the latch assembly. There is a cover over the latch to prevent exactly what you are doing, so you'll have to break that apart.
