Does it go away after a few seconds, or does it last longer?
If it stops a few seconds after you start the car, its probably the timing belt hitting the cover before the tensioner gets oil pressure, and its not really a big deal.
Whoops, this is if you have a Zetec, you didnt mention which engine you have.
