the car is beautiful, though i don't really like the louvres on the front fenders. the guy is supposedly talking to lawyers to see if the car is street legal i nthe US because of the paint (wouldn't it have been a better idea to ask before hand!?). And, in case you're wondering, the car looks jacked up because they put the suspension at it's highest level so they coudl get the car on the flatbed.

i didnt even think of that. you cant chrome plastic! the mirrors are chrome too. must be electroplated (eltrocharged coating process popular with lowriders that like to chrome EVERYTHING!).
this thing is unique but a waste of a very fine car.
its like a large version of the Hot Wheels "metallic series"
ps chrome plated amps is generally a bad idea. yeah i know, Audiobahn, but theyre designed to work around it. i know people who have plated their amps and they would just shut down after a few minutes. chrome=heat

Thats awesome... but I feel sorry for the people that have to be in traffic with it, somebody's gonna go blind because of that car.

There's an entirely new process of chroming actually. It's almost entirely like painting now. Probably not NEARLY as durable as true chroming, but I saw something on it on one of the many car shows out there. They even chromed one of those little Nike footballs, but unfortunately they didn't squeeze it so I could see how the chrome reacted on it, i.e. flexibility. So now you can chrome just about EVERYTHING and I'm guessing that this is basically what this car received.

What a tool.
bwahaha so true.
Too much chrome looks like a plastic painted shell. Kind of like that ugly chrome rc car I had when I was a kid. I took Dad's hammer to it and had a melee in the garage; I'd do the same with this bmw!
