My SVT was recently hit by an uninsured motorist and driving with a suspended license. I was rear ended on the highway at a dead stop because of a car stopped in the middle of my lane. I stopped in time but he didnt. He caused major front and rear damage. My insurance paid for everything to fix the car, they then went after the motorists for the money. It came to a total of $6,500 in damage. I didnt pay a cent.

Dont worry, your insurance company will work with you on this. BTW, most likely, your insurance will not cover any aftermarket parts, unless you have added it to your coverage. The body shop that it is brought to will replace with factory parts. Also, go to the doctor, wether anything happened to you or not. This is just to get it on record so that if any future health issues show up that may relate to it, it is on record that you were in an accident and if its related to the accident, the insurance will have to cover it.

Not to mention that a few months after the accident, a received a pretty decent amount of money for "pain and suffering" on top of the $6,500 already paid out to fix the car. I received $1000, my brother who was in the car received $1000 also, and my friend who was in the front passenger received $500.

Good luck
