Your car comes with one from the factory. When you see the speed sign on the freeway just make sure the big gauge in your dash that reads MPH doesn't pass the number on the sign. You are then guaranteed not to get a ticket. In all seriousness why do you want one? They good ones work great, unfortunately the cop sees you before your radar mentions it.
ATX MTX swap, rear drum disc swap, drilled rotors, ported intake, optim throttle body, CAI, 7.5L MAF, adj. fuel regulator, longtube headers, underdrive pulley, no EGR, low inpedence bigger injectors, 2002 Focus Swap

You can pick up a whistler (alright) for about 30 bucks on ebay. Like this one. Cheapo!
However, if you are buying a radar for what I think you are buying it for, you may want to break the bank just a tad and go with something good. Like A valentine. Well worth the some 150-300 hundred you will spend. Check them out here. Not Cheapo!
Either way, it's your call. I like to sometimes think of the future when making purchases, like Computers, radars, stereos. I don't wanna buy something cheap and half assed that may or may not get the job done. Sometimes its best to either pull up the stops or save up for another month and get something that you will deffinetly use and enjoy to its full potential. Thats just my .02 cents on "How to buy electronic gizmos."
Also, in the real world, there is no such thing as Cheap and works well/ gets the job done. Like everyone always says, you get what you pay for. And thats the dman truth.

I put it nicely, he put it forcefully. SO, as you can see... there is no such thing as buying a CHEAP radar. Its like buying condoms at the dollar store, you just don't do that for obvious reasons.

Thats an EXCELLENT one. Not top of the line, but deffinetly not overkill of underkill. Get that one.

I actually would consider it top of the line. Maybe not the most expensive, but top of the line.
