Oh I forgot, before anyone goes cutting their cables .. right where the trunk latches up there is an orange tab, move that over and it disconnects the remote trunk release without any damage. So if you go to sell the car, just move it back and the remote release will work again



thanks for the tip. is that in the trunk? or by the pull lever thingy by driver's seat?
