The penalty for that is a shotgun to the face.
Do you have an alarm system on your car ? If not, you might consider getting the loudest, most annoying one you can find. You might also find ways to work on rigging your stuff so that it's more difficult to take out of your car.
Crap like that is the reason I don't put that kind of stuff in my car.
