BTW, In the first pic of the door lock removed, what's under the weatherstripping? My best bet is that they removed the door lock, then just used either a coathanger or a lock technicians kit, and reached in behind the weather stripping, and lifted the lock that way. Maybe that could help ya find who got into it/how they did it.
