My brother has been working on an old 1973 Volkswagen Bettle.
He is in need of a "super pimp my ride." J/K

No,.. really there is a problem with his car I can't figure out why it is stalling after it warms up?

This is what he said to me:
I have a '73, and the engine is in sore need to an overhaul, it stalls
after warming up for a mile, particullary when you come
down in speed at a stop light. there maybe a vacuum leak and the carb
needs rebuilding, when I have the money I might just get
the proper kind of emissions control air filter with the hoses, it's way
ugly but It might best server me to go with
"Reliability" unly body work can be done, The list of fixes that I need
to persue ab body work is 1)engine work, 2)replacement
of the front end suspension, 3)the back IRS needs work too as the car
kinda sits lower on the passenger's back, 4)gas tank need
replacing, and I plan on ridding the car of the charcoal emmisions system
that uses expecnded escape fuel fumes, blocking those
hoses off, it's legal for vehicle over 30years. 5)I plan on re-doing the
dashboard and inner-side panels with some nice wood
work of mohogany, oak and stuff, should be easy to manufacture.
6)retrofitting the vehichle's fenders and bumpers to look like
a mid-60's model. Heck the whole care needs more work and money than even
VW enthusiast would say was worth it, why not? It
would have been my want to have purchased a more vintage car with not a
hint of rust, but since I own this car now, I might as
well "pimp my ride" some, of course minus, the dropped stance, huge rims
and twenty speaker, ten DVD-screen pro-sound system.
