What else did you consider?

Why did you pick the Altima?

Congrats on the new car.

So what you pay?
Trade in Value?

And hows it drive compared to the CSVT?

Well, I'm really picky about the looks of the car in addition to the performance. Looks are unique to each individual obviously. I looked at the Maxima as well, looked at the Ford line but didn't really see anything that did anything for me unfortunately. I considered the new GTO but it's a bit pricier, gets worse MPG, and is only a coupe. No other cars from GM really did anything for me. I thought about waiting for the Mazdaspeed 6 but didn't want to wait until winter to trade in my SVT otherwise I'd have to get some work done on it. The only other cars I seriously considered were the rally type cars (IMHO):

Neon SRT-4 (next door neighbors kid has one)
Mitsu EVO8
Subaru WRX STi

That said, the only car I SHOULD have looked at that I didn't was the new Subaru Legacy GT. However, I'm generally in on a car for the longer haul (6 years in the SVT) and turbo cars are generally less reliable long term and require greater levels of maintenance that are more costly, so I decided to stay with NA cars.

In my view, Nissan's got the best V6 on the market bar none for price/performance. I like the engine and there's a decent market for mods due to the prevalence of the engine across multiple models of Nissan/Infinity lines. Turbo kits, exhaust, headers, y-pipe, ECU's, etc. And Nismo has committed to making a new line of parts specifically for the SE-R Alty.
