I'm thinking of lowering the car to ge a sportier handling for my '98 contour SE.
I picked the Eibach springs and KYB struts combo.
What do you think? Also, wondering what I can do for a bit more performance. Don't know which Intake kit and exhaust I should go with.
Thanks,
Rob

Wrong struts. Get Spax, BAT, Bilstein, or Koni.

Don't have the money for Koni's and I don't think I need'em.
however, the BAT + SPAX suspension combo seems interesting and the price seems right.
I'm thinking of adding a 21mm stabiliser bar at the rear as well, any comments on that?
do I just add the bar with the bushings and thats it? Or do I have to go for an alingment afterwards or buy other parts?
Thanks
Rob

Looking into an aftermarket rear sway bar? You should research reinforcing your rear subframe then also, as the sway bar mounts may break loose. Some SVTs have had that problem with just stock SVT sway bars.
MSDS, SHO-shop Y, custom 2.5" catback; xcal2; 63mm TB, K&N 3530; Koni struts, Aussie bar; THaines forks, Quaife, SpecII, UR fly; DMD; Nima UD pullies; Stazi brakes; f&r Pole120 mounts. Just a daily commuter car. Silver '98 SVT E0 #3159

I have a 98 SE so this would be a problem as well?

Any rear sway bar above factory sizes will likely damage the rea sub frame.

Is it really worth it to get Koni's? Its expensive and before investing in something like that, I want to know what I'm going to get out of it.
Are they really better than SPAX or KYB struts?
Thanks for the tips.
