I want to install an oil pressure gauge on my Contour... Question is, anyone know of an FAQ (Did search, didnt find much for a Zetec, just Duratecs )

Anyone able to help out for a Zetec Install.

Pictures, and some basic things done would be helpful

Also what kind of T-connector to get.

I was thinking of getting an Electrical sending unit.

Also how much do they run in price?

gauges run about $40-60 depending on who makes them and the type of gauge.

ask hector with the red supercharged zetec with the flat black 11 Lbs. rims he has gauges in his ride.

electrical are typically easier to install, but not as accurate as mechical. Also, as has been rehashed earlier for the Duratecs, the only place ot mount an electrical sending unit for oil pressure is the rear head, its not the most accurate place to mount one.

There's a plug on the driver's side of the engine that you can remove and tap into.

There should be someone out there that's done it recently. I did mine a couple years back and no longer have the Mystique.
