Seems like a lot of different opinions abot Dell here. One guy says his Inspirion 8100 laptop stinks. I bought the exact same model for my wife two years ago and we think it's great. No problems thus far and I just upgraded it with a dual layer DVD burner fixed drive that several "experts" said would never work on an Inspiron. Coolness.

I personally think their laptops are very good. I have never seen/heard to many problems with their laptops.

I personally think their laptops are very good. I have never seen/heard to many problems with their laptops.
I can attest to this, given the fact that I cover a huge area and deal very little with laptop repairs. I will also say, that the few calls that I have had on Dell laptops, have been more quality control issues more than anything.
