If people who bought Dells didn't like them, they wouldn't be the largest PC maker in the world with almost 20% of the total worldwide market.
That doesn't mean they don't sometimes break. But that the people who buy them must be understanding of their breaking because they come back to Dell again and again.
If people were willing to pay a little more for better stuff, we wouldn't see the little guys run out of the business.
And for businesses, Dell is far and away #1. And businesses have an incredible vested interest in their computers having the most amount of up-time. So they must be doing something right.
