Thespeeds are given right on the list of choices you can make. They always have been. Brand name is not, as it just depends on which supplier got the truck to the dock first.

There wasn't even such a thing offered until June. Even now, there's only a couple of motherboards that support it and there's nothing out there that can really benefit from it yet. With the nForce4 it'll be more popular, but it's still got a long ways to go before "most" motherboards have it.

So, yes, it will be a while before Dell starts mass-producing computers on incredibly expensive motherboards that have 16X PCI-E slots on them since consumers have absolutely no need for them currently nor for the near future.

Apparently you're confused again. I never worked for Dell. I did consulting work for them while working for a logistics firm. Big difference. I "defend" them because your claims are factually incorrect and you're attempting to lie to people either on purpose or out of ignorance of the truth, one of the two. I have no interest in the company and have never personally owned one of their computers, as I have always built my own.
