Dell doesn't usually list their hard drive speeds even. Not even when you get the computer saying the system specs. As for the dell machines. my sisters is 7 months old. not to old to not even have a agp slot. now days most mother boards are comign with 16x pci slots. something that will take years for dell to put on all their systems.

Anyone with dell on their resume can get a good job. i mean come on. Their a huge company employee thousands of people world wide in several countries. My company i work for is huge, but i know things aren't perfect, but I still defend them as a good company just like most employees do. so you defending them is natural, current or ex employee. and thats fine. but neither of us are really making any new points outside the stuff where they make the computers.
