Just wondering what I am going to have to beat at the strip tomorrow wink Hoping to crack into the 13's since the temp should be in the 30's. Who has the highest official time slip from a drag strip. No g-techs. I think bnoon ran a 13 with the nitrous. Anyone faster?

Yes, but the timers were malfunctioning that day, so no time slip. Just FYI, it was 13.8 at 103 with a 75 shot of NAAAAAHHHHHS on a low 60 degree day. Same day I ran my 14.7 that I did get a timeslip from...

Bridgestone RE71's 225/50/15 on stock alloys, torque strap on engine pulled very tight, 18 PSI. Very quick track. High RPM launch slipping the clutch, slight wheel spin, no hop. Stage very, VERY shallow (barely turn on the second stage light). This allows your car to roll forward a foot or so without breaking the beams of light to start your time which in turn lowers your 60' and hence, your 1/4 mile time. Old racer's trick. wink

Track for me too tommorow night too. Should be low 50's here. Now that I got the N20 running right, I hope for low 14's as well. One thing I do not have is the bottle heater, which I know would shave a few 1/10's off. This thing hits like a biitch when @ 1100 psi. Mine will be with a 75 shot in. I too won't be beating a damn 2.09!! HTF did you accomplish that!!

Yeap, extremely impressive.

And he told me that that was on a 90 degree day.

13s a piece of cake for him.

How about some slightly worn BFG comp T/A VR-4's at 35 psi laugh Best I've managed with that combo is a 2.3. Wish I had something to pump the tires back up for the ride home...then I'd lower them to 20 psi.
