gosh, they won two games, wow, even fans in boston know they can't win 4 in a row against NY. we like to let everyone get all excited before we knock them back into their place. schilling is getting rocked tonight btw

You may be right, but it makes for exciting baseball, unlike four-game sweeps by multi-decade dynasties. I'm just getting back into the game of baseball after many years of being disgruntled after the strike. Having a strike threatened a couple years ago hasn't helped.
Oh, and it also doesn't help when your own hometown team can't put together a winning season in 12 years despite getting a brand-new freakin' stadium (not that I'm bitter)
