How about we just simply close the border to Mexico. It seems there are always illegal immigrants coming here and causing [censored] all the time.
I'm seriously saddened by the fact that two innocent people died, but yet the driver of truck lived, as did most of the immigrants on the truck.

To wish death to people who are just looking for a better life, is the most disrespectful, heartless, disgusting thing you could do.
Regardless if there illegal or not, YOU don;t wish death upon someone, who has hurt no one!!!
That aside, i am AGAINST illegal immigrants. it took my mother till she was 45 to get here citizensip...but she had her green card the hole time....she was NEVER illegal! And she says something needs to be done about it.
But for you to wish death upon them, thats taking too far!

Ah okay first off the innocent people that died, they were law abiding citiznes, both in middle 70s.
The illegal immigrants, all were braking the law, the driver was doing 90mph and ran into a busy intersection causing an 11 car pile up.
I fail to see why anyone gives a crap if any of those immigrants lived I dont, I have no symphany at all, I do have symphany for the couple in the car that died due to the drivers actions.

so i suppose you wouldnt have any sympathy if there were a handful of 3 year old children in the vehicle.
nobody is trying to justify their actions but to piss on their graves just shows your ignorance and immaturity.

Part of the problem is that the US government sends mixed signals. Things like this send a mixed signal to people coming into this country. We say no we don't want illegals but we kind of do because they work cheap and in areas like California no one will check them. Illegals can be mistreated, work under minimum wage, and have no recourse for this. That is to say, illegals are in danger also because they have no protections. I don't think illegals should have these protections, they just shouldn't be working here illegally. But when we close checkpoint we have one less way of stopping illegals getting hurt and working illegally. About the article, it is absurd to have a heart for the illegals who are put under "stress", god forbid they get caught without a license, drunk, with a possible weapon (if they are drunk).

Your an insensitive prick, that needs to learn a thing or two abotu all human life, not just life within YOUR confied walls....All life is precious, regardless of who it is...even your life HITAMNinMI......Now there are some whos lives i do not car about...murderer's,rapists, child abusers.....things like that.
I am very agains illegals in the USA, but like i said, i would never wish death to them or you...

My I remind HITMEmini that this country is essentially built on and by illegal immigrants. You think the first colonists to arrive here had green cards?
Now...If you had a family and struggling to provide them with a better life, would you not do EVERYTHING you could for them? To many south of the boarder, a better life means comming here to America where their children will have the blessings and poourtunities YOU take for granted and insult every time you touch a keyboard!

I'm going to have to side with HITMAN on this issue. My sympathies only lie with the two innocent bystanders. The other three I have no sympathy for, if nothing else, it means 3 less that will be pulling this stunt sometime in the near future, since illegals never seem to learn the lesson that they are not welcome here when they get caught. They were breaking the law, they command NO sympathy from me. I don't care if they were here to make a better life for themselves, there are legal ways of doing so. Hispanics in this country live under this assumption that they somehow have some divine right to skirt the rules because life is so hard back home in Mexico, Central America, etc. [censored]. Plenty of people have had it as bad and even worse and yet they all went through the legal channels and became citizens. Why should Latinos be given "special" privileges?
A lot of people argue that these people work and put money back into the economy. I read an interesting article a while back about how Mexican immigrants don't put more than they have to back into the US economy. Any extra they send to family back home in Mexico, feeding the Mexican economy. Well, no wonder Mexican officials don't like tighter restrictions on immigration, it's a quick and easy way for them to get US dollars plugged into their OWN economy.
