Does the weapon r intake suffer from heatsoak like KKM? confused

I was ready to spend on KKM but all the comments I read about is heatsoak. I'm afraid to put together a heatshield because I might mess something up.

Some people are happy with the weapon r intake, so I might go that direction instead.

I suffer thru traffic to and from work everyday here in Oahu mad and it gets pretty hot so heatsoak would defintly be a factor with KKM.

Any advice would be great.
