No more funny to see then opening the hood of the Contour and seeing a V6. The body cladding and interior of the 6 are slightly bigger, but I still have to slide my seat forward for large rear passengers. The V6 has about the same amount of room in the 6 as an Altima has which is a bigger car and also comes with a 4 cylinder. The 6 is not as large as you think.
Also I think you both need to chill.

I would not like you to retract your comment. I sorta understand what u'r saying, but it applies to so many cars, that it sorta goes without saying. I'd rather just look at the output of the engine, rather than what can be there, etc.
I am opinionated and stubborn (though not to the point that many people are, I have changed my thinking so many times after arguements, that's why I like them). I don't try picking fights, just picking arguements (when there is an arguement to be had, not like some people that just argue to argue). I don't mean to offend or anger anyone, I just like disscussing stuff. So next time don't take what I say as a personal attack. If I'm going to personally attack u, u'll kno it u big stoopid head.

It's been taken care of with the 's. I hope...
Ok, since everyone fails to see my harmless point, we'll just forget I ever said it. I didn't realize it would create an uproar, just an imagination going to work, maybe when I see more than just a cover that says 2.3 turbo, my imaginative view will be replaced with reality.

Well, I learned of it in Autoweek, so nixay on the journalist hombre for the twin-turbo. Searching the net I found more. It's just good to see serious product coming out of the Ford nebulla. I made the comment about the twin turbos because the idea of it is kinda exotic. Not too many people do that. Personally, I've always had some special attraction to 90s Japanese sports cars, which became ridiculously expensive over time. But again, it is the neat idea you can put multiple turbos under the hood. When you read of cars like the Bugatti Veyron W-16 with 4 turbos, there is some lust. Nonetheless, one turbo is amazing too. The fact is you can merely double or more what the little 4 cylinder's naturally aspirated hp and tq numbers were originally. As of late lots of cars are doing it as mentioned. Personally I think the WRX STI & EVO arent in my styling tastes and have choppy rides. To some people these cars styling may be great. As per the reviews I've read and having been in a WRX STI, they are blazing fast, but crude, and could use refinement. I think mazda will do a nice job of finishing the job.

Call me a "why do it if it's not necessary" kind of guy, but twin turbos just don't turn me on. all the extra work for nothing more than what you could have had with one.

If cost was not an issue, I'd have one turbo still. That's car talk. What benefits do you see in a twin turbo setup?

Well firstly if you've got a 'V' engine, its usually easier to setup two turbo's for each manifold.
Otherwise, in cars like the Supra when you have a mondo sized T4, you're going to want a smaller sized turbo to kill turbo lag
The MSP6 is gonna be really gutless below 3k, but nice car nonetheless.

Well you probably launch at 4500rpm and during race it would stay above 3k, so who cares if it's gutless under 3k.
